Nathalie takes a functional approach in practice, drawing on evidence based research to provide dietary advice. Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating signs and symptoms and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s physiological function.

The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles in practice through an intensive 5 day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™.  Nathalie attended and completed the AFMCP™-UK training in London in 2017.  She has also been accepted onto the IFM Certification program.  She completed the Gastrointestinal APM in 2019 and the Cardiometabolic APM in 2021.

Nathalie attended Genesnippers UK training in 2018 and in 2019 passed the competency assessement in clinical nutrigenomics.   Nathalie is competent in understanding and interpretating DNA results and is certified as a Nutrigenetic counsellor (NgC).

Nathalie works on a consultant basis with clients as a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner CNHC, with an interest in nutrigenomics, gut health, cardiometabolic health and children’s health.  As a BANT registered Nutritionist, she is regularly invited to speak in spas, schools and corporate settings; running workshops and cooking demonstrations.  She has a passion for the practical elements, running cooking demonstrations/classes for both adults and children.

Nathalie also has experience in developing menus and diet plans; contributes to magazines, radio (CFM radio), newsletters and most recently her own food blog Nutritiously Natty.  Her real passion is working with brands in recipe development, combined with her a goal to learn the skills of food photography!

"Nathalie has massively helped me with my diet and understanding what I need and why. My initial issues have greatly eased with her advice and supplement support. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and I feel fully supported.

Symptoms have eased some completely gone I’ve definitely noticed a huge difference in myself. I now have great understanding of my dietary needs and lifestyle changes. I was overwhelmed with the amount of contradictory information on the internet before meeting Nathalie"
